Test your web design in different browsers

August 20, 2008 · Filed Under Useful Sites, Web Design

If you’re a web designer, or just the proud owner of a website, I’m sure you’d like to make sure your website is viewable to not just you, but to everyone using different browsers and operating systems.

This is now possible by using the Browser Shots website. This website takes screenshots of your website from multiple browsers and operating systems. You choose what you want to see your site in.

So what is Browsershots?

Browsershots makes screenshots of your Web design in different browsers. It is a free open-source online service created by Johann C. Rocholl. When you submit your Web address, it will be added to the job queue. A number of distributed computers will open your Web site in their browser. Then they will make screenshots and upload them to the central server here.

When wanting to find the best deal for something, then comparison is a must. Whilst it's very important to compare home insurance and things like that, it's also a good idea not to forget smaller - but still essential - things like pet insurance comparison as well as broadband comparison.
